2023 Ford Superduty model year updates

The 2023 Ford Super Duty has undergone a significant redesign and comes with updated features both externally and internally. The exterior styling is centered on both function and aesthetics, with a dropdown beltline and a muscular hood (Motor Trend).

In terms of power, the base 6.2-liter V8 has been replaced by a new 6.8-liter block that makes an estimated 405 horsepower, which is an improvement of 20 horsepower more than before, and the big 7.3-liter V8 has been enhanced with an improved air intake system and a new tune for greater power (Auto Week, Auto Blog, CNET).

The 2023 Ford Super Duty also boasts a payload of 8000 pounds and a towing capacity of up to 40,000 pounds, putting it ahead of its competitors (Auto Week).

The 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8 turbo diesel engine is optional and returns for the 2023 model year with 475 horsepower and 1.050 lb.-ft. of torque. It is now joined by a new high output variant that provides 500 hp and 1,200 lb (CNET).
